Proposition 8 is the single most important issue facing Californians and all Americans today. The issue at risk is the loss of family values. With loss of traditional family values, we lose our heritage of what makes strong families. If we are forced to accept gay "marriage", we will be forced to accept their lifestyle in all aspects of community. I for one refuse to accept them as mainstream now and will not, even should Prop 8 fail, but then I guess that would make me some kind of hate criminal and surely would further decay my right to free speech when denouncing their lifestyle. Our children today are bombarded with so much that we are against. It is important to remain strong in the gospel and stay the course. The Lord will win in the end and we just need to make sure we are on His side.

It is also importanat to raise children in an environment of love and mutual respect. The real world is full of different people and tolerance and mutual respect is imperative.
The key to tolerance is that it is mutual. It is not a one way street. We are not attacking anyone. We are simply trying to preserve our rights. We ask that others are tolerant of our rights as well--- our religious rights as well as our parental rights.
